As an artist I feel that it is my obligation to open people’s eyes in some way. I feel that art should induce a strong emotion, create a new train of thought, or aid in human understanding. I strive to create beautiful portraits and paintings that, either, allow one to experience a different perspective, or induce a loving memory of someone for the viewer to treasure, always.

Hi, I’m Olivia (aka Liv). I am based in lovely Madison, WI, and have been embracing the art culture that it fosters.

As a lifelong artsy human, I’ve always loved exploring a variety of mediums, but have recently found my home with charcoal. My current focus has been capturing the emotion and essence of women through portraits. I appreciate the simplicity and minimalism that comes with charcoal and a single subject.
